1. Who runs this website

This website is run by Arthur De Wilde, sole trader (eenmanszaak) based in Belgium, registered in the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises (Kruispuntbank van Ondernemingen, KBO) under enterprise number 1021.480.373. These details are given in line with Book XII of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (Wetboek van economisch recht, WER) on information society services.

2. VAT

Arthur De Wilde uses the VAT exemption scheme for small enterprises (vrijstellingsregeling voor kleine ondernemingen, articles 56bis and following of the Belgian VAT Code). Prices are therefore final prices and invoices state: “Kleine onderneming onderworpen aan de vrijstellingsregeling van belasting. Btw niet toepasselijk.”

3. Copyright

The films, photos, texts and design on this website are protected by copyright (auteursrecht, Book XI of the Belgian Code of Economic Law). Films made for clients are shown with their permission. Nothing may be copied, downloaded or reused without prior written permission.

4. Privacy (GDPR / AVG)

Arthur De Wilde is the controller (verwerkingsverantwoordelijke) of the personal data described below, under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU 2016/679, in Dutch the AVG) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data.

Visiting this site. No cookies, no advertising trackers, and no fonts or scripts loaded from other companies. To see how the site is used, each page view is counted anonymously: how long the page was on screen, how far down you scrolled, the name of the website that sent you (for example instagram.com), phone, tablet or computer, and your country. No IP address is stored and nothing links one visit to another. If your browser asks sites not to track you (Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control), nothing is counted. These counts are kept for at most 24 months.

Hosting. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, whose servers handle technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and keep them secure. The visit counts are stored with Supabase in the European Union (Frankfurt).

When you get in touch. If you email or call, your name, contact details and message are used only to answer you and, if we work together, for that project (legal basis: steps before a contract and the contract itself). Your details are never sold or added to mailing lists.

Clients. For clients, what the project needs is kept: name, company, address, VAT or enterprise number, email, the agreed project and, once signed, the agreement with the date, time, IP address and browser used to sign it. Invoices are made in Dexxter and sent through Peppol where required; online payments, when used, go through Stripe; strategy calls are booked through Cal.com. Project files stay available for at least 12 months; invoices and agreements are kept as long as Belgian accounting and tax law requires.

Your rights. You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, to limit or object to its use, or to receive it in a usable format. Email [email protected]; you get an answer within one month. You can also file a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit, GBA), dataprotectionauthority.be.

5. Liability

The information on this website is put together with care but may contain errors or become outdated; no rights can be derived from it. Links to other websites are offered for convenience; Arthur De Wilde is not responsible for their content.

6. Applicable law

This website and this notice are governed by Belgian law. Disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the Belgian courts.
